Caltrans Districts 1, 2, & 3 invite you to attend the Spring into Working with Caltrans series! This 3-week training expands on the concepts presented in our Contractor’s Boot Camp and puts into practice these applications: an in-depth look at finding contracting opportunities, prompt payment, contract change ordering, & post-award presentation.

A Deep Dive into Caltrans Contracting Opportunities

In this session, we will provide a comprehensive overview of the different Caltrans contracting avenues, including Major Projects, Minor Projects, and Emergency Projects. The NR DSBL’s will dive into how to find these opportunities by navigating our websites, and what to expect when attending an in-person or virtual mandatory pre-bid, reviewing the bid events, and giving the contractors a better understanding of what the bidder inquiry process entails, how to submit one, and where to find the response once answered.

“I Have a Contract, Now What?” – A Post-Award Presentation and Q&A Panel Discussion

In this session, we will be joined by Caltrans Subject Matter Experts for a panel presentation including Norcal PTAC Public Works Specialist Ed Duarte. Join this discussion to learn about understanding contract requirements, plans, specifications and estimate (PS&E) final acceptance and post-award of Caltrans contracts.
