With the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill being implemented, there is a plethora of construction and public works opportunities in the government marketplace. But, one of the most common questions we get asked by construction firms is, “where do I find projects to bid on?”

There are several places to look online when searching for bid opportunities as well as best practices for establishing relationships with prime contractors and keeping abreast of new project pipelines. 

In the first part of this webinar Norcal PTAC Procurement Specialist Liz Brazil will explain where to go and how to establish an efficient bid tracking system. The second part will be dedicated to a panel of local Bay Area agency representatives who will discuss their specific upcoming contracting opportunities.

Liz has extensive experience with small and disadvantaged business enterprise programs working over 35 years for various Bay Area transportation agencies such as Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART), Alameda County Transportation Commission (ACTC), and Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). She is familiar with local, State, and Federal procurement processes. Her passion is helping small businesses be successful and win government contracts. She holds a BS in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from San Francisco State University.
